古代ギリシャ語、ヘレニズム期のテラコッタ - タナグラの女神像
非常に優雅な姿で、断片が残る状態。赤土で、部分的に下塗りが残る。
（台座の古代修復跡）。写真参照
空洞像で、背中の大きな開口部は焼成中のリラックス用であり、結果的に像を大掛かりな装飾取っ手として大きな花瓶に固定することを可能にしたと考えられる。
前方を向いて台座の上に立つ像で、長く皺の多い衣服をまとっている。- チオネ（Chion）
右腕は肘を曲げ、手は右胸の上に休んでいる。
非常に細やかに作られた表情は状態が良く、結い上げた髪と頭には後ろに向かって尖る帽子がある。
裏面は平らに加工されており、型板で作られたことを示唆している。
この類の像は聖域に供物として奉納された例が多い。
高さ23cmの規模はこの像群の一般的な寸法に合致し、晩期古典主義から初期ヘレニズムの形態言語への移行期の美学に調和する。
