David Gersteinはエルサレムで生まれ、1944年生まれ。
エルサレムのBezalel美術学院で学び、教鞭をとり、パリのBeaux Arts、ニューヨークのArt Students' League、ロンドンのSt. Martin'sで学んだ。
イスラエル美術館、ハイファ美術館、ヘルツリヤ美術館でのソロ・ショーをはじめ、イスラエル、欧州、アメリカの無数の公立・私立ギャラリーで展示された。
彼の作品はイスラエル美術館、テフェン・オープン・ミュージアム、エルサレム科学博物館などの都市や美術館に恒久的に展示されている。エルサレム、ラムット・ハシャロン、ロッド、ヘルツリヤ、古代アブダットの各都市に。
