Forged iron suji-bachi helmet with six plates and a forged iron mask from Japan, dating to the late Edo period around 1850, complete with kabuto and hanpo, leather Inome front ornament, brown–black tataki-nuri lacquer and interior red lacquer, dimensions about 20 cm high and 27 cm wide, provenance from an auction house, not sold with a stand.
