鍔 - Japan

Original Japanese Mokko-gata Tsuba from the late Edo period, 67 × 61 × 3 mm, with a Nanako-ji surface, depicting a boy riding a water buffalo with a figure guiding the animal by a golden rope, and blooming plum blossoms above and chrysanthemums below, with a figure carrying a basket on the reverse, in fair condition.
