江戸末期と伝えられる極めて精巧な日本の茶碗（茶椀）一対と、元箱として署名入りの tomobako（木箱）が付属します。これらの品は、歴史的な真実性と伝統的な職人技の両面を reflect しています。

These bowls are distinguished by the classic characteristics of Hagi Fukagawa ware. They feature a warm, earthy beige tone with subtle iron accents near the foot, typical of this style. The glaze possesses a soft, matte texture that is highly appreciated in Japanese tea ceremony aesthetics. Unlike the sharp crackle of other wares, this glaze is known for its gentle evolution; it absorbs tea stains over time ("Yōkan"), enhancing the character and depth of the piece with continued use.

The well-balanced form sits comfortably in the hand, embodying the rustic simplicity of the wabi-sabi aesthetic. Each detail reflects careful craftsmanship, from the unglazed foot ring (koudai) revealing the clay body to the controlled firing that produced this consistent yet lively surface. The presence of the labeled tomobako further supports their origin as preserved antique works.

Condition:
Very good condition for their age (Late Edo Period), with no significant cracks or restorations. Please note that minor irregularities in the glaze and shape are intentional characteristics of handcrafted Hagi ware and part of the artistic process.
