Brahin (or Bragin, sometimes Bragim) is a pallasite meteorite found near the town of Brahin.
The first two masses of this meteorite, weighing 20 kg and 80 kg, were discovered in 1810.
Subsequently, numerous other fragments were recovered from an area (strewn field) approximately 15 km long and 3 km wide.
Notably, in 2002, a 227 kg mass was found at a depth of 3 meters at the northern end of the strewn field. The total mass of the various fragments likely exceeds 1,050 kg (the official estimate), as not all discoveries have been reported.
Conversely, various masses have been stolen or lost, particularly during World War II.

Brahin is a siderolite—that is, a mixed metal-silicate meteorite. It exhibits the typical structure of a pallasite: olivine crystals ((Mg,Fe)₂SiO₄) dispersed within an Fe-Ni metal matrix.
