右向きのJosé María Morelosの肖像が刻まれた銀貨。メキシコ独立の鍵となる人物を、リアリズムと端正な作風で描き、はっきりとした特徴と穏やかな表情が際立つ。裏面にはメキシコの国章である鷲が蛇を喰らう様子が、ノポルの上に描かれた伝統的で均整の取れた構図。極めて高い保存状態を示しており、浮彫は鮮明で、地垣にはサテンの輝きがあるが、等級特有の軽い打痕が見られ、それを除いて全体として魅力的で、現代的な銀貨としての特徴をよく表している。
