About the Artist – Sonia Anton

Sonia Anton is a Romanian-Australian contemporary artist whose work explores emotion, identity, and balance through bold, minimalist compositions. Influenced by her experiences living across Europe, Australia, and Mexico, she creates intuitive paintings that emphasise texture, colour, and atmosphere over realism.

Her original artworks are held in private collections across Romania, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands. Every painting is created by hand as a unique original, reflecting her belief that art should invite personal interpretation while leaving a lasting emotional impression.
