ルーマニア、サトゥ・マレ郡トゥルツ町の Turț Mine（Ghezuri Mine）産、Pyrrhotite の偽形体としての Marcasite var. pseudomorph の、よく形成された標本。
Turt Mine からの目を引く標本で、Pyrrhotite の偽形体として完全に置換したマルカサイトが見事に原形の結晶形を保持し、鋭く金属的で淡い真鍮色の形状を生み出している。
Turț Mine はローマニア全土で際立つ置換鉱物の産出地として知られており、これらの偽形体は希少性と科学的意義から高く評価されている。この標本は、元の Pyrrhotite の幾何学を鮮明に保持している点と美しい金属光沢が特に際立っており、ローマニアのクラシックな標本コレクションにとって卓越した追加品となる。
ルーマニアのサトゥ・マレ郡にある Turț Mine（Ghezuri Mine）は、政府の鉱山閉鎖方針を受けて2007年に permanent に閉鎖するよう命じられた。
