"Ottomane sur son sofa, Egypte", très beau portrait de la fin du dix neuvième siècle attribué à P. Sebah.
Très très beau tirage albuminé d'époque en très bon état de conservation, contrecollé sur support carton.
Superbes nuances de gris.

Pascal (P.) Sebah est l’un des grands photographes actifs à Constantinople dans la seconde moitié du XIXᵉ siècle. Son atelier, installé au cœur de la ville, devient rapidement une référence pour les voyageurs et diplomates en quête d’images de l’Empire ottoman et de l'Egypte.
Sebah réalise portraits, scènes de “types” et vues monumentales avec une grande maîtrise technique et une mise en scène soignée.
