A Western Asiatic zoomorphic amuletic bead carved from rock crystal, circa 2nd–1st millennium BC, measuring about 1.7 cm long, 1 cm wide and 1.8 cm high, with a flat base pierced for suspension, in good condition with earthy encrustations and minor chipping, authenticated as original/official, acquired 2000 from Ex S.M. Collection, London (private collection; former owner acquired in 1970).
