Seikoが Astron GPS Solar を2012年に発表したとき、すでに歴史を刻んでいた名を再び呼び戻しました。1969年の初代 Astron は世界初のクォーツ腕時計でした。現代版は同様に野心的で、ソーラー電力とGPS受信機を用いて、ボタンひとつで地上のどこにいても正しい時刻とタイムゾーンに設定します。このモデルは calibre 7X52 を搭載し、頑丈なステンレススチール製ケースの上に黒色セラミックベゼルを配し、ワールドタイムゾーンのスケールが刻まれています。ダークな文字盤にはパワーリザーブ表示、DSTおよび受信表示、6時位置の24時間サブダイヤル、3時位置の日付窓を重ね、インデックスには明るいブルーの発光塗布を施しています。signed Seiko のバックルを備えた黒色シリコーンストラップで装着します。

Case & Bezel: The steel case is clean with only light handling marks. The black ceramic bezel retains its gloss and the engraved time zone scale is crisp, with a few very small marks visible under direct light.
Dial & Crystal: The dial is clean and all indications, applied markers and printing are complete and sharp. The sapphire crystal is clear.
Bracelet & Clasp: The silicone strap is supple and shows light wear at the fastening holes. The signed steel buckle is lightly marked and closes securely.
