Late Meiji Period - 花瓶 (2) - Ceramic - 薩摩輸出用花瓶

Pair of late Meiji era Satsuma export vases, 15 cm tall and 8.5 cm in diameter, in red, white and gold, decorated with Mt. Fuji and a scene of two women and a child, bearing Shimazu crest and Nihon mark on the base, made in Japan, in good condition with minor glaze flaws and wear to the gilding but no chips or cracks.
