Item Description
Fujii Shumei Arita Porcelain Decorative Vase with Leaf Motif
This decorative vase is by 藤井朱明 Fujii Shumei, a leading master of 有田焼 Arita porcelain. On the smooth white porcelain surface, two hand-painted leaves are carefully rendered on each side, their delicate veins captured in fine detail. The deep indigo tones of the motif stand out beautifully against the white porcelain body, and the minimal, uncluttered composition lends the piece a quiet elegance. The vase comes from a private collection.
