プリコロンビア期コリマ文化のズーモルフモーフ的オブジェ クモの形状 - メキシコ
鷲のような頭部で丸みを帯びた球形の胴体、短い足、特徴的なくちばしを備えた stylized birds を描いた大型器。コリマ伝統に典型的な滑らかな赤色滑り釉で仕上げられており、古代の焼成と長い埋蔵による魅力的な斑点と表面の変化が見られる。
彫刻家は翼の線を刻みつけ、眼を隆起させ、コンパクトで均整のとれたシルエットで鳥の形状を強調した。この種の動物エフィギーは、西部メキシコの shaft‑tomb 文化の生産と強く関連している。
この作品は、年齢と考古学的出自に一致する、暖かい赤褐色のパティナと、より濃い斑点を示している。
くちばしの小さな欠陥と表面の軽微な摩耗。
時代区分：紀元前200年 - 紀元後200年
