Impressive natural fossil association with a 2 nicely preserved fossil Shrimps (Carpopenaeus) with a partial fish of the genus Sedenhorstia sp.
Coming from the famous Cretaceous outcrops of Lebanon. These fossil deposits were first mentioned by the Greek historian Herodotus where he said there were "fish in the stones". It is a fairly good quality specimen. Regarding its restorations or repairs, their outline have simply been slightly excavated to make them stand out (highligh) from the natural matrix. A stabilizer has also been applied to its surface for better preservation.
