彫刻は絶対的なリラックスに身を委ねる姿を描く。大きなカップの中に心地よく身を沈め、まるで想像できる最高のラウンジのようだ。かすかに長く伸びたその輪郭は、手を頭の後ろに気楽に置き、穏やかでのんびりとした安らぎを放っている。

この作品は、小さな儀式の物語を語る――休憩を取ること、日常生活からいっとき離れることを可能にするコーヒーの香り。ときに最も単純な喜びが、最大の平安と喜びをもたらす、という微かな思い出させる。
