コロンブス以前の後期モチェ / 早期ラムバイェケ文化 - ペルー
北海岸ペルー発祥の、後期モチェ期から早期ラムバイェケ期への移行期の、精巧に造形された人形形陶器壺。
壺は座した人間像を描き、長い円筒形の冠を戴き、表情豊かな顔つきと、北海岸の象徴的な幾何学的塗装図様で装飾された丸みを帯びた胴体を特徴とします。
頭部はモチェ由来の特徴が強く彫られており—際立つ鼻、アーモンド形の目、明瞭な耳—一方で高い冠と胴体の塗装パターンは初期ラムバイェケの影響を示しており、両文化の移行期の作品であることを示しています。
状態: 年代相応の表面摩耗と鉱物化、一部区域で pigment が退色しています。
時期: 約紀元後600年 - 900年
寸法: 高さ20 cm
