Deruta - ジャルディニエール - Ceramic

Italian Deruta ceramic jardinière from the 1950s, polychromed and 24K gilded in Byzantine mosaic style, an oval vessel with large handles on a round foot, about 45.3 cm long, 26 cm high and 21.8 cm deep, weighing around 2.7 kg, marked Deruta, Italy and with an underside “M” mark, in very good condition with a tiny chip to the inside rim and minor wear to the gold.
