Artist Bio

Sonia Anton is a Romanian Australian contemporary artist whose work explores emotion, memory and human connection through bold abstraction and expressive mark making. Raised among art in her mother’s atelier in Antibes, France, she developed an intuitive visual language built on movement, texture and colour rather than representation.

Her paintings are held in private collections across Romania, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Portugal. Each work is an original, created entirely by hand, reflecting a distinctive contemporary style that balances spontaneity with thoughtful composition.
