Meissen porcelain ceremonial plate hand-painted with a central polychrome floral motif on a cobalt blue ground, 30 cm in diameter and 4 cm high, in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, attributed to E.A. Leuteritz for Meissen Porzellan Manufaktur, Germany, c. early 20th century.

Magnificent vintage Meissen porcelain cabinet plate, marvelous hand painted, heavy gold trimmed, icon model of the great designer Ernst August Leuteritz (1818 - 1893) for Meissen Porzellan Manufaktur, in excellent to pristine condition.
The plate feature a central large polychrome flowers motif, within a shaped and moulded rich gilded rim, set with three further flowers and gilt rocaille cartouches, on a cobalt blue ground.
Flowers painting on porcelain has a long tradition at the Meissen manufactory that has grown continually throughout the ages and continues on to this day. It’s well known that flowers motifs are more rare and valuable. It’s a must have for all the collectors.
It is in excellent to pristine condition, two grinding lines, marked with Meissen blue crossed swords mark of the period , NO chips, NO cracks and NO repairs, please see the pictures as they are part of description.
