Kutani Ware (九谷焼) 6-go Vase by Bisen (美泉) – “Peony and Birds” – Original Box – Japan
An elegant vintage Japanese Kutani ware vase by Bisen (美泉), featuring a traditional floral and bird design.
The original label identifies the piece as:
• Kutani Ware (九谷焼)
• Product No.: K-064
• Type: 6-go vase
• Design: “Botan Tori” (牡丹鳥 / Peony and Birds)
The vase has an elegant rounded body with a long, gently flared neck. Its ivory-colored surface features a fine crackle-glaze effect, giving the piece a refined traditional appearance.
The decoration depicts colorful birds among blooming peonies and foliage, creating a classic Japanese kacho-ga (flower-and-bird) composition.
The neck is further decorated with calligraphic-style motifs, adding to its distinctive Japanese character.
The underside bears the “Kutani Bisen” (九谷 美泉) mark.
The original vintage box and accompanying Kutani ware leaflet are included. The box retains its original labels, including the product number and design information.
