George T. Morganのデザインに特徴的な、左向きの Liberty の胸像を載せた Morgan Dollar の銀貨。綿花の葉と小麦の穂で装飾された自由の小帽を戴き、自然主義的なスタイルと浮き彫りがはっきりと表れています。背面には翼を広げた紋章風の鷲が矢とオリーブの枝を掴み、開いた植物の王冠と国家的な銘文に囲まれています。元来の光沢が素晴らしく、明るい野原と銀色の反射を伴う輝きを持ち、鷲の羽根の細部や髪の絡みは顕著にシャープです。魅力的な個体で、 Bland–Allison法の下でのフィラデルフィア製造の豊富な発行と、19世紀後半の銀貨銀含量の激しい鋳造を象徴しています。
