The Design: A Dancer on Your Table
Sakura Adachi, a designer of Japanese origin, is highly acclaimed for her shape-and-function philosophy, creating unexpected solutions for modern living spaces. She famously describes this piece as "a little dancer that can rock, swing, and spin on the table."

Inspired by the organic form of a leaf rustling in a gentle breeze, the bowl boasts a unique dual nature:

- When empty: A hemispherical counterweight and small metal spheres hidden inside the base keep the object perfectly vertical. It stands tall as a sleek, sculptural centerpiece that takes up minimal space on your table or countertop.
- When in use: The moment you place fruit, chocolates, sweets, or nuts onto the surface, the weight gently coaxes the object down into a horizontal position, transforming it into a functional serving bowl.
- The Magic: As soon as the last item is removed, "Lovely Breeze" softly and autonomously swings back up to its upright, vertical position.

About Sakura Adachi:
Born in Aichi, Japan in 1977, Sakura Adachi obtained BA in Industrial & Craft Design at Musashino Art University in Tokyo and MA in Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London. Since 2004, she has been living and working in Milan and has collaborated some well-known design studios. She has won many awards including Red Dot Design Award. She was a teaching staff at Istituto Europeo di Design Milan. Since 2014, she is a lecturer on Industrial Design course at ISIA in Pordenone, Italy.
