Véritable chef d’œuvre d'art africain, découvrez cette statue Chokwe ou Luena portant  Pwo ou Mwana  de belle femme. Elle représente le danseur masculin portant le fameux coiffure de belle femme représentant la jeune femme dans la fleur de l'âge qui doit se marier. Le visage est dès lors remarquablement sculpté avec la croix appelée "chingelyengelye" ainsi que des scarifications sur les joues et les tempes.

Le corps de cette statue africaine quant à lui striés comme un zèbre et figure en fait le costume porté par le danseur, costume en fibres tressées.
