Björn Weckström による Lapponia の彫刻的ペンダント「Janus」、1969年ヘルシンキ製。
これは現代北欧アーティストジュエリーの父とされるフィンランド人デザイナーの、最も象徴的な作品のひとつです。Björn Weckström は国際映画に作品が登場した唯一のジュエリーデザイナーであり、彼の「Planetoid Valleys」は『スター・ウォーズ』(1977)でレイア姫に携行され、世界中の彼の作品への関心を高めました。
「Janus」モデルは、ローマ神話の二面性を指す名で、14Kゴールドのテクスチャー仕上げの建築的構成と、荒い表面の長方形の台座に象嵌されたピラミッド型の彫刻カットの2石を特徴とします。Weckström 独特の特徴です。
チェーンはジグザグに動く平らなリンクで、構造的には珍しく、コレクターの間で高く評価されています。
石：煙水晶とクォーツの彫刻的ピラミッド・カットをオープン・セッティングで嵌入。処理は確認されていません。
