アートについて:
蝶は変容、自由、そして脆弱性を象徴します。Mariska Kartoの作品では、この象徴は文字通り説明されるのではなく、微妙に具体化されています。その意味は言葉にすることが必ずしもできませんが、直感的に感じられます。これこそ彼女の作品の力であり、説明するのではなく、あなたに感じさせることです。

短いプロフィール
私は南米のスリナム生まれで、豊かな文化的遺産を内に抱えています。スリナム系、インドネシア系、アフリカ系、オランダ系の血を持ち、オランダで育ちました。古代オランダの巨匠たちの遺産に囲まれた地で、フェルメールとレンブラントは常に視界にあります。
香水ブランドの仕事が一度ヴェネツィアへ私を連れていきました。そこで、バロック美術、建築、そして街の layered history（層状の歴史）に深く心を動かされました。その経験は私の内に深い何かを呼び起こし、今日まで私の芸術的ビジョンを形作る長続きするインスピレーションの源となっています。

私の創作プロセスは綿密に組み立てられ、深く多分野にわたるものです。セットは細部にまで注意を払い、私の他の芸術的情熱である：鉛筆デッサン、金素材の使用、テキスタイル、高度な写真操作を組み合わせて構築します。作り出す一つ一つの作品には、これらすべての要素を一つのまとまりとして融合させます。
