インドの大剣：
ガードと柄頭を含む全長: 117 cm
剣身とガードの長さ: 105 cm、刃長 94 cm。
時代：インド、19世紀。
ファランギは アラビア語の al-Faranji に由来し、西洋 Europe の武器を用いたインドのタイプの剣で、欧州製の刃を使用していました。
この種の武器はインドと西洋の交流の典型です。古い欧州製の刃は、しばしばポルトガル人の商人によって売られていました。
その長さゆえ、ファランギは通常、主に騎兵向けの武器と見なされています。
これはムハーラシュトラ州（ボンベイ地域）およびラージャスタンに典型的な「KHANDA」型の装具です。
柄はKhanda型で、カゴ状を成し、柄頭が長い棒状に延びており、2手で武器を扱えるようになっています。
これは刃が特に長く、両刃の剣です。
美しい、真っ直ぐな刃で、全体にさびがなく、がたつきも一切ありません。
注：ガードには非常に目立たない微小なひび割れがあり、影響はありません。
