Artist
Sadao Watanabe (1913–1996) was a major Japanese printmaker particularly known for his Biblical imagery executed using Japanese stencil-printing techniques.
作家: 渡辺貞夫（1913–1996）は、日本の主要な版画家で、特に聖書画を日本の型抜き版画技法を用いて表現したことで知られています。
He trained under Serizawa Keisuke and was influenced by Yanagi Sōetsu and the mingei movement. His Biblical prints have been exhibited internationally and are represented in major institutional collections like Vatican and The White House.
彼は芹沢啓介の下で修行し、柳宗悦と民藝運動に影響を受けました。彼の聖書画は国際的に展示され、バチカン美術館やホワイトハウスなどの主要な機関コレクションにも所蔵されています。
