このコインは、アレキサンダー大王の bodyguard の一人で、アレキサンダーの死後にトラキアを奪い305年BCから281年BCまで支配したリュシマコスのティトラドラクムです。オブ reverse にはアメンの角を戴く神格化されたアレクサンドロスの頭部が彫られ、Siwaの神との血統の印が刻まれています。リュシマコス周囲には、女神アテナがNikeを手にして座しており、周囲には王リュシマコスの伝説が刻まれています。アレキサンダーの顔を自分の貨幣に載せることは、王位継承権を主張するためのリュシマコスの主張の一部でした。
