槍先の矢じりまたはナイフとしての霊長石/赤斑長石の盤石器 – マリ（紀元前8000年頃）
素晴らしい赤系統の外観を持つ優美な石器で、赤系の外観と色彩の豊かさに近い赤色系の閃光を帯びた素晴らしい燧石から作られています。その葉状のシルエット、丁寧な両面加工、そして細部まで整えられた先端は、新石器時代の職人たちの卓越した技術を物語っています。
マリで発見されたこの石器は、古新石器時代（紀元前8000年頃）に属すると考えられています。槍の先端として、あるいはナイフとして用いられていた可能性があり、このタイプの道具が先史社会でしばしば結びつけられていた二つの機能です。
