An English sterling silver Edwardian hanging basket on four ball feet with openwork decoration, a central diamond cartouche with flowers, and a border of lion-mask reliefs; interior hallmarked Birmingham for 1st grade silver, maker William Aitken (1891–1921) with year letter M for 1911; weight 260 g; dimensions 24.5 × 17.7 × 6 cm (16.5 cm with handle); in good used condition.
