Complete collector’s set of 7 metal (bronze/brass) pin badges in pentagonal shape from the Soviet series “Советские исследования космоса” (Soviet Space Exploration). The set includes badges dedicated to the following milestones:
• Второй искусственный спутник Земли – Sputnik 2 (date on reverse: October 1957)
• Третий искусственный спутник Земли, ИСЗ-3 – Sputnik 3 (date on reverse: May 1958)
• Космос 135-137 – Kosmos satellite probe
• Марс-2 – Mars-2 probe (date on reverse: May 1971)
• Служаемый аппарат Марс-3 – Mars-3 descent module (date on reverse: May 1971)
• Выход в открытый космос – First human spacewalk (date on reverse: March 1965)
• Series opening badge depicting a rocket, planets and stars
Each badge has the month and year of the event stamped on the reverse, together with the “ШОК” maker’s hallmark, and a pin/clasp fastening. The badges are in original, unrestored condition, with age-appropriate patina. The set is offered without the original box or certificate. Suitable for collectors of Soviet decorations and space memorabilia.
