An authentic private collection and historical postal archive belonging to Austrian postal official Josef Gadermaier from Graz-Eggenberg. 

The archive covers the late Austro-Hungarian Empire period, World War I era, and the early interwar period (1908–1930).

The set comprises 80 original postcards in total:
 
1) 70 Postally Used Cards: Sent primarily to Josef Gadermaier and his family. Includes clear postmarks, stamps, and handwritten messages. Features a diverse geographical spectrum: Graz and Styria (including the Hörgast sanatorium), Salzburg (Gaisbergbahn, Hellbrunn), South Tyrol (Meran, Dolomites, Jaufenstraße), Innsbruck, Linz, and Bratislava (Pressburg).

 2) 10 Unused Cards: Includes two rare unused commemorative postcards from 1912 featuring the special cancellation stamp "Andreas Hofer 1912".
 Themes: Topography, alpine views, historical architecture, religious art, Christmas, Easter, and New Year greetings, as well as period portraits.
 
Album: 
The entire collection is preserved in its original Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) postcard album from the early 20th century with a decorative cloth cover.
