May Blitzは、1970年代初頭に活動したカナダ系・英国系ハードロック・パワー・トリオです。
このグループは1969年、ベーシストのテリー・プールとドラマーのキース・ベイカーによって結成されました。彼らはブルース・ロック・トリオ Bakerloo のリズム・セクションであり、ギタリストの Clem Clempson が Colosseum に参加するために脱退した際、二人もグループを離れました。ボーカルとギターで参加したジェイミー・ブラックは、その後録音前にプールとベイカーがいずれも脱退したためグループを離れ、プールは Vinegar Joe、ベイカーは Uriah Heep にそれぞれ加入しました。ブラックはその後、同胞カナダ人のリード・ハドソンをベースとして迎え、ジェフ・ベック、ザ・ホリース、Sounds Incorporated で演奏してきたトニー・ニューマンをドラムに迎えました。
UK のパブでの演奏を経て、グループは Vertigo Records と契約（米国では Paramount Records に所属）し、1970年にデビュー・アルバムをリリースしました。続く1971年初頭には2作目のアルバムが出ましたが、商業的成功を欠いたため、1971年末にトリオは解散しました。

Seller's Story
My name is Hans Kesteloo and I finally decided to sell my ‘remaining’ collection of 45’s, LP’s, CD’s, DVD’s, laserdiscs and other odd things after more than 60 years of ‘hardcore’ collecting. I purchased my first 45 in 1965, and this was the beginning of an enjoyable, long-time hobby – a real-time “collector’s career”. Now time has come to pass the baton !
