14Kホワイトゴールド製、4.5cm幅の寛大なレトロ・スクロールブローチ。互い違いに組み合わされたC字型スパイラルとカールで、磨き抜かれたリボンと緻密に粒の揃ったダイヤモンド・リボンが交互に配置されています。
中央には約1カラットのオールドマインカット・ダイヤモンドを据えたオールドカット・ cushion型の宝石があり、ハンドカットされた小さなテーブルと高いクラウンを持つ、現代のラウンド・ブリリアントが登場する以前にカットされたタイプです。スクロールワーク全体にはさらに4つのオールドカットが散りばめられ、故意の非対称性を特徴としています。リボンには100石以上の小さな石が敷き詰められています。
自由に流れる非対称のリボンデザインはレトロ期の特徴で、宝石商が1920年代・30年代の厳格な幾何学を捨て、流麗で立体的なフォルムを追求した時代の象徴です。
