Nikko Kogyo - The New Circus Boy - Japan

Great and colorful original Circus boy from with raffined function. The Circus boy has the 1950s trademark of Nikko Kogyo and the original Japanese Design Patent number issued between 1935 and 1940 - see photos.

A replica of the Circus boy was made by Teruhisa Kitahara's (TK) mark on 1990. Kitahara's reissues were expensive at the time and made in very limited numbers.

The boy is the original toy and excellent working by clockwork. The boy move both his arms so the bell give sound and he is showing and moving his poster. He is also turning his head in both direction and at the same time turn around his own axes. The toy is produced with at filt cover underneath his feet.

Marked with: Nikko Kogyo trademark, "Made in Japan" and "Design Patent number 92209"
