イヤリングはコーラ貝の真珠をあしらった、ヴィクトリア朝時代の古金で作られたミニチュアです。ヴィクトリア朝を例示する時代であり、手描きのミニチュアとコーラ貝の真珠の装飾を特徴とします。工芸品として、これは小さなスケールの肖像画に求められる繊細なディテールを強調しており、しばしば愛しい人や理想化された人物を描くことが多いです。金とコーラ貝の真珠の使用は、19世紀半ばから末期の高品質ジュエリーの象徴的な特徴でした。現時点で良好な状態の組み合わせのコピーを見つけるのは稀です。ポイントとしては、ミニアチュールに描かれたエナメルの繊細な職人技が挙げられます。イヤリングは、特に絵画の部分がほぼ完全な状態です。真珠がある縁には軽い損傷があります。写真に見られるとおりです。さらに真珠は規則正しく均質な形状ではなく、いくつかの箇所で真珠が欠けています。とはいえ、物品としての古美術品は全体的に良好な状態です。
