ビルマ産の琥珀は、ミャンマー北部のフーカウン渓谷（旧名ビルマ）から産出し、ほとんどの琥珀よりもはるかに古く、白亜紀約9,900万年前にさかのぼります。
ドミニカ産の青い琥珀とは異なり、ビルマの琥珀は通常、金色がかった青色のトーンや浮かぶような青緑色の色調、あるいはカメレオン効果と呼ばれる現象を示します。特定の照明条件、特に日光の下で、表面に青または青緑の光沢が現れます。これらの独特の色は、最高級オパールを思わせます。自然光の下で青く見えるすべての写真を撮影し、その自然な美しさをすべて示しています。また、紫外線ライトの下での反応と真正性を示す1枚の写真も用意しました。
