This is number 17 of the limited edition of 3000 in cold-cast porcelain.one of only 3000 pieces ever made. 17.5 inches high, about 45 cm. 18 x 14 cm approximatly, base 13.5 cm. square. Retired in 2002.
From 1975, Armani, born in 1935, worked exclusively for the Florence Sculpture d'Arte, and for more than 20 years until his death in 2006 created masterpieces ranging from traditional Capodimonte style to more daring, contemporary sculptures.
After his death his successors were unable to maintain his artistic standard and the studio closed down in 2009.
