非常に珍しい鉄製の鎌（初期中世、7〜8世紀）。典型的には極薄の刃で、まだリッジ補強はない。
握りの端は鉤状に整えられており、それは木製の柄を固定するために用いられた。
中世には鎌は生命と死、収穫と儚さの象徴であった。治療者や薬草女の属性とみなされ、月形の形状ゆえに魔法、自然の循環、そして生命の糸の運命的な切断と結び付けられた。
長さ約36cm
