15〜16世紀の鉄製の鎌が2点。\n\n小型の方は長さ24cmで、鉄製の握り金具がオリジナルのまま残っており、握り直径は1.8cmであることが分かる。握りの先端は鉤のように成形されており、木製の柄を固定するためのものだった。\n\n大型の鎌には鍛冶の刻印が2つあり、ひとつはユリの紋章、もうひとつは線が入った紋章板である。特筆すべきは歯先の部分が部分的に極めてはっきりと見える点である。長さは39cm。\n\n中世には鎌は生命と死、収穫と移ろいを象徴するものであった。治療者や薬草師の属性とみなされていたが、月形であることから魔術・自然の循環、そして生命の糸を宿命的に断つこととも結びつけられていた。
