13世紀の2本の鉄鎌。
小さい方は長さ12cmで、状態は極めて優良。鍛冶職人の刻印はψの形。
大きい方の鎌は柄が非常に長く、全長の2/3を占めている。長さは18cm。
中世には鎌は生命と死、収穫と儚さを象徴していた。治療者や薬草の女性の属性と見なされていたが、月形の形状ゆえ魔術・自然の循環、そして生命の糸の運命的な切断と結びつけられていた。
薬草の女性は中世には魔女とみなされており、医学知識と薬草によって人を癒すことができたため、これが悪魔の仕事と見なされた。多くの人々は火刑で痛ましい最期を迎えた。
