16世紀の南ドイツ地域の農民戦争におけるスイスの農民の剣。
長さは60cm、4つの波紋を鍛冶マークとして持つ、教会に対して蜂起した農民たちの notable な剣。
入念に清掃・保存され、今後500年間保存されるよう管理されており、木製の柄の専門家の協力を得て、1525年頃の生きた歴史として展示できるように絶対に本物らしく再現された。
いわゆる親指板（Daumenblech）は腰帯の掛け金具として機能し、刺す際に親指の圧力を高めるために用いられた。
この状態での中世コレクションの絶対的なハイライト。文学作品に見られるように、ここには常にDaumenblech（リベット付き）と木製の柄が欠けている、というのが典型的な描写として挙げられる。
