版画集 Energy of Silence からの1色スクリーンプリント（セリグラフ）。出版・手刷りは West Germany の Brenden にある Edition Partanen により 1978 年に行われた。

構図はほぼ対称的な5本の縦帯（赤・白・深い青・白・赤）から成り、次にその対称性を崩す：飽和した赤の正方形が下部右象限をずらし、第四帯を短く切り詰め、平面の均衡を傾ける。結果として、構成派の伝統における還元的で硬角的な作風となり、移動する要素ひとつが静止した場を動かす――題名の「静寂」を揺さぶる「エネルギー」である。

版は60部、版下にアーティスト・プルーフ5点を含む。今回のこの印は 15/60。シリーズの各版は像のサイズが 45 × 45 cm で、画家自身が個別に署名・番号を入れている。右下には鉛筆でサインと日付（「Helge Roed 78」）を手書き。左下には鉛筆で番号が入っている。

ヘルゲ・ロエド（オスロ生まれ、1938年）は、 reductive かつ構成派の idiom で活動するノルウェーの画家・彫刻家・版画家である。ヒーネ=オnstad アートセンター、ホーヴィコドンの彫刻プロジェクト、Gallery F 15（モース）での個展のほか、Den Frie（コペンハーゲン）、20 Pall Mall（ロンドン）、Galleri Nordenhake Rykken（オスロ）、マルメ等での絵画展を開催している。コンクリート芸術・連作芸術の分野で多数の国際的グループ展にも参加している。
