Wood - Indonesia - 20th century

Two wooden wall sculptures from Indonesia dating to the 20th century in original condition from a private collection, comprising Beeld 1 at 65 cm in dark wood with a traditional crown, folded hands and a tapering pointed base showing minor finish damage at the crown top and the tip, and Beeld 2 at 100 cm in polychrome wood with gold, red and black accents, pronounced facial painting and a bindi, with a small finish loss on the crown top.
