Elegant pair of antique German solid silver dishes made around 1900 in the Rococo Revival style.
Both pieces are crafted in 800 silver and bear the German crown and crescent hallmark together with the crossed flags “GK” maker’s mark of Gebrüder Köberlin, Döbeln, Saxony. The company was one of the notable German silver manufacturers of the late 19th and early 20th century.
Beautifully shaped scalloped borders and finely balanced proportions give the set a refined and timeless appearance. The mirror-polished interiors reflect the high-quality workmanship typical of German silver production from this period.
The dishes can be used as bonbon dishes, sweetmeat bowls, nut dishes or elegant cabinet pieces.
Excellent overall antique condition with minor signs of age and use.
