Circa 1880–1900 French Napoleon III Bronze Fireplace Fender & Andirons – Ornate Antique Set
An elegant antique French fireplace ensemble in bronze, comprising a long decorative fender and a pair of matching andirons. Its sculptural design, warm aged patina and elaborate architectural details create a striking presence, ideal for a period fireplace or refined classical interior.

- Origin & Period: France, late 19th century, circa 1880–1900. The Historicist design is characteristic of the Napoleon III period, incorporating Louis XV and Louis XVI Revival influences.
- Design: The andirons feature tall fluted urn-shaped finials above elaborate scrolling bases with prominent oval cartouches. The fender is decorated with an elegant balustrade of turned spindle elements.
- Material & Craftsmanship: Bronze construction with finely cast ornamental details and a rich, naturally aged brown-golden patina.
