概要：
頑丈で重厚な古代鉄製の開環ブレスレットです。 bronze や gold はしばしエリートのために用いられることが多い一方、鉄の装飾品はケルト系および北ローマ辺境の領域で広く用いられ、実用性や武器・戦闘的な意味合いを帯びることが多く見られました。厚く無装飾の断面と、先端がやや細くなる端部は、古代の鍛冶職人の実用的で荒削りな美学を反映しています。
特筆すべきは内径63 mmが収集家の視点から非常に重要である点です。細身の腕に合わせて作られた古代ブレスレットが多い中、この寸法は現代の成人の手首の比率に近く、古代史の中でも特に着けやすい品として際立ちます。
鉄の表面には、長い埋葬の年月を経た深い凹凸が現れています。決定的には、古代の酸化プロセスが完全に被膜化して硬く黒い磁鉄鉱の層となっており、金属の構造的安定性を保っています。
