インドネシアのケリス（クリス）
彫刻された象牙の柄、木製と角製の鞘
長さ 44 cm
19世紀末〜20世紀初頭
ジャワと周辺地域を象徴する、インドネシア伝統の美しいケリス（クリス）で、武器かつ儀礼用具の象徴的な存在です。
柄（ウキラン）は、風化した象牙を精緻に彫刻した幾何模様、交差するハッチング、そしてスタイライズされた形で構成されています。欠陥（ひび割れ・欠け）が見られます。
鞘（ワランガ／ガンダル）は濃い木材製。先端部（ブントゥット）は角製で、こちらにも欠陥（ひび・欠損）が見られます。
刃は鋼製で、基部が典型的に非対称、錆びています。
